MISS TALL INTERNATIONAL® 2011 PAGEANT IN SEATTLE JUNE 29
TCI SeaTALL Convention 2011

Tall Clubs International (TCI), a not-for-profit organization, will be holding the 2011 Tall Clubs International Convention in Seattle, Washington June 27 through July 3, 2011. About 150 tall people from across the United States, Canada, and Europe will be based at the DoubleTree Guest Suites Southcenter while exploring the Emerald City.

The Miss Tall International® Pageant will be held on Wednesday, June 29.  Four contestants from across the country will compete to become TCI's next spokesperson.  Miss Tall International® 2011 will represent TCI as she travels to member clubs for publicity events and to promote tall awareness. 

On Tuesday, June 28, the queens and convention attendees will enjoy a Duck Boat tour of the city. Later that evening, our contestants will be selling raffle tickets to help raise funds for the National Marfan Foundation. The benefit dance will begin at 8:00 PM.

The Queens and their respective clubs are:

5’11” Amy Burkard, Paramount Tall Club of Chicago
6’1” Casey Lynn Jackson, Seattle Tip Toppers
5’10” Maria Dawn Smithers, Tip Toppers Club of Detroit
6’2” Talisha Andrea Tolliver, Tall Club of Diamond Valley Lake
Reigning Miss Tall International® 6’2” Joy Lynn Dawson, of Washington, D.C.

Local talls interested in the club are invited to attend a complimentary welcome dance at the DoubleTree at 9:00 Friday evening. The contestants and newly crowned Miss Tall International® 2011 will be available for interviews and photos. The DoubleTree Guest Suites are located at 16500 Southcenter Parkway, Seattle, Washington 98188.

In addition to providing social events for tall people, TCI and its foundation work to advocate for tall consumers, provide yearly scholarships for high school seniors, and raise funds for the National Marfan Foundation. TCI includes more than 50 not-for-profit tall clubs based throughout the United States and Canada. Additional tall clubs exist in Europe and Australia for a total of nearly 150 tall clubs internationally.
