Do you know who your club queen will be?

To all TCI clubs and members,
If you have not already done so, please make plans to select your local representative for the Miss Tall International Pageant this June 29 in Seattle. Convention will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana, from June 24 through 30.

Important pageant deadlines are:
January 31, 2011 - interested applicants must have been members of TCI by this date
March 29, 2011 - clubs are asked to inform me of their intent to send a queen, even if she is not yet identified
April 15, 2011 - contestant applications are due

There is no need to wait for these dates. Application packets are already being distributed. All contestants are asked to arrive in Seattle in time for rehearsals which begin on Monday, June 2. Contestants are expected to attend the full convention. Should you have questions about the registration process, please contact Susan Kelsey. For application packets and all other pageant questions, please contact me directly.

Please ask your local club to send a queen this year! All contestants must be at least 21 years of age, legally single, 5'10" or taller, and female members in good standing of TCI. If you are planning on attending convention, and are eligible to compete, why don't you talk to your club board about making you their official contestant? A vibrant pageant, as part of a meticulously planned and well-attended convention, is an instant recipe for excellent TCI publicity.
