TALL CLUBS INTERNATIONAL® 2011 NATIONAL CONVENTION IN SEATTLE
TCI SeaTALL Convention 2011
Tall Clubs International (TCI), a not-for-profit organization, will be holding the 2011 Tall Clubs International Convention in Seattle, Washington June 27 through July 2, 2011. About 150 tall people from across the United States, Canada, and Europe will be based at the DoubleTree Guest Suites Southcenter while exploring the Emerald City.
The Miss Tall International® Pageant, Emerald Reign, will be held on Wednesday, June 29. Contestants from around the country will compete to become TCI's next spokesperson. Miss Tall International® 2011 will represent TCI as she travels to member clubs for publicity events and to promote tall awareness. The reigning Miss Tall International® is 6’2" Joy Lynn Dawson of the Tall Club of Greater Washington, D.C. Joy was crowned Miss Tall International® 2010 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
In addition to providing social events for tall people, TCI and its foundation work to advocate for tall consumers, provide yearly scholarships for high school seniors, and raise funds for the National Marfan Foundation. TCI includes more than 50 not-for-profit tall clubs based throughout the United States and Canada. Additional tall clubs exist in Europe and Australia for a total of nearly 150 tall clubs internationally.
